He received the 248th 914/6 built and immediately converted to race specifications for SCCA’s Production C Class. Raced from new by William Stroh of Chicago in 1970-71 to SCCA Regional Championship with numerous 1st place finishes.
Stroh had a support contract from Porsche North America and went to win the Road Race of Champions (SCCA runoffs). Wonderfully documented with original period photos, memorabilia, race results, lap charts, and magazine articles all kept by his wife and small team.
Production C class was fiercely competitive with other entries driven by Alan Johnson, Peter Greg and the Richie Ginther team cars.

Expertly restored by original team mechanic to exacting standards as raced in 1970-71. Proper 6 cylinder 2 liter engine, same race number, as in period.
