History:

Porsche factory Kartex shows selling new to William Wakely, an American abroad, through Porsche France Distributor Sonauto in Paris, France. Service work at Porsche Dealer Rossel in Wiesbaden, Germany. Then to Riverside, California by 1965, residing in California for its entire life. Still retaining the old black California license plates.

Restoration:

Restored by Porsche 356 expert, Don Emory, of Fallbrook, California. A bare shell, full restoration of all components. Beautiful paint and body, brilliant chrome, full mechanical rebuild, leather interior upholstery by K and H Upholstery. Recent service work by 356 engine expert, Jack Staggs, in San Clemente, California.

Options:

As per factory Kardex, equipped with chrome wheels, center horn ring, headrests, driving lights, radio, luggage rack, Koni shocks, tool kit, jack, and Owner’s Manual.

2017 La Jolla Concours Porsche 356 Class. 2015 Dana Point 356 Club Concours.

Of Note:

This is one of the best 356C series Porsches anywhere. Rare and beautiful colors, matching numbers, full factory options, and numerous show awards. A restoration to this level costs well over $100,000. California black plate car. Very hard to duplicate.
