This
is a
USA
version of the beautiful Ferrari 246GTS Dino Spyder.
Only 1200 or so spyders were built.
It is equipped with power windows, air conditioning,
and leather seats. In
a unique factory color combination of metallic blue with tan
leather.
The
car has been owned for the past 20 plus year by the same owner
and has been in a collection alongside many other Ferraris.
It has been stored indoors in a heated garage and
started on a regular basis but has had limited use.
The car drives well, the engine has good power, good
oil temperature and oil pressure.
The gearbox is solid with good syncros.
A
pre-purchase inspection has been done by an independent
Ferrari specialist so one has an accurate understanding of the
car’s condition. We
do recommend a major service due to time rather than miles as
well as a rebuild of the shocks and suspension bushings.
The
paint makes a good appearance with a beautiful shine and good
panel fit. On the
engine lid there is some shrinkage.
The interior is consistent in its wear.
There are no rips or tears and the seats have been
reupholstered.
Car
has manuals, but no tool kit or jack.
Ownership is known and the car is on a clear
New York
title. Do the major service, rebuild the suspension and one
would have a great driver.
