History: HU34 sells new from Lola Cars, England to their U.S.A importer Carl Haas, then on to the Baker Motor Company in Atlanta Georgia. Jim Baker had a team of three Lola T212's for Pete Harrison, Tom Fraser and Bobby Rinzler. They raced in South East Divisional SCCA events where they scored enough points to gain entry into the American Road Race Championship at Road Atlanta (the National Championship). In the finale the Baker racing cars finished 1st, 4th and 6th in BSR with Pete Harrison becoming the national champion. The Lola continues racing in various SCCA events and under 2 liter Can Am through the 1970's at great tracks such as Mid-Ohio and Mosport. HU34 has a continuous documented ownership history from 1971 to the present. There is a comprehensive write up detailing the car's complete history by Allen Brown of www.oldracingcars.com. It is also acknowledged by Lola Heritage. It is then fully restored and raced in Europe at the Silverstone Historic Festival, the Spa Masters Round, and the CER event at Le Castellet, where the car was the class winner.
