History:

Raced by Red Rose racing team in 1971 by John Hine with a best finish of 1st place at the Dunes Trophy at Zandvoort in Holland. In 1972 the B19 is acquired and raced by John Lepp and the Central Garage Ltd. race team where it finishes 1st at the Balcare GP in Argentina and 1st at Estoril in Portugal. Raced in the late 1980's through mid 1990's in England with preparation by Vin and Helen Malkie of Chevron Racing.

 

 

Condition:

Recent professional race preparation in excess of $100,000 by Precision Automotive Restoration in Massachusetts which included a recent crack check on the magnesium suspension parts. In addition to the $100,000.-- is the cost of the Steve Jennings built Cosworth YBM engine on carburetors and the Hewland FT200 gear box.
