Selling new to successful English amateur racer, Roy Pierpoint in March 1959. 622 was raced at Silverstone, Aintree, Snetterton and Brands Hatch from 1959-1962, to several class wins and top five overall placings. 622 then sold to George Dixon who continues to race the 15 at Cadwell Park and other venues. This history is documented by Lotus 15 registrar Bill Coulson. There are also period photographs and race results and a complete ownership history.

622 then goes through a succession of known owners ending up with Larry Kinch in 2000, who has Don Law's shop prepare it for Win Percy to drive, including a thrilling duel with Danny Sullivan at the Goodwood Revival and Percy winning the 2000 BRDC 2 Liter Historic Championship.

Condition: Professionally prepared in 2000 by Don Law and later Gary Pearson before coming to the USA in 2006 where it is raced successfully. In October 2010 it undergoes a professional rebuild of the four suspension corners, brakes, Koni shocks, u-joint yokes, new rear hub carriers, rear differential, half shafts and stub axles. It is now painted white with a black center stripe and is one of the finest examples available.
Engine: Croswaithe and Gardiner rebuild on a 2.0 liter Coventry Climax FPF with approximately 7 hours run time.
