History:
 

Allard factory records show a completion date of 11/21/1950 and destined for export to the USA less engine and gearbox. One of 90 Allard J2’s produced. Originally invoiced and sold though Roy Richter’s southern California Bell Motors Allard dealership. This car has early race history at tracks such as Santa Barbara, Seattle International Raceway and Shelton Airport near Seattle, WA. The ownership history is known. Most recently this car has resided in a large classic car collection by a well known car collector.


Restoration:

Beautifully restored in 2001 and in outstanding condition. Powered by a 283 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 with triple carburetor induction and shifted by a four speed transmission. The front suspension is a solid axle, of which only two are known to exist. The rear end features a De Dion axle as well as the inboard brakes. This Allard can be set up to compete at vintage race events or on the open road in vintage car rallies.
